Group Mixed Media Exhibition, Candid Gallery, London April 2010 (show extended until the 2nd of May)

Ellie Bates and Jessica Hannan are a collaborative duo based in London. Working together since 2008 their combined practice investigates the legacy of painting over Fine Art. Incorporating performance, video, installation, architecture and sculpture, the work revisits the recurrent structures embedded in art making with intriguing, and often humorous, results.
